Reflexology

Discover wellness through the Art of Reflexology.

Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and well-being, reducing stress in your life can be key in optimising good health and building resilience. Over 75% of health problems can be linked to nervous stress and tension. Specific techniques are applied to the reflex points on the feet, improving blood lymph and nerve circulation, in turn the body relaxes, and the organs and glands are balanced. The skilled application of these precise techniques affects not only the physiological, but treats the whole person, thereby stimulating the body's own healing potential.

Reflexology provides supportive touch and an empathetic listening environment and can be used safely alongside standard healthcare to promote better health.

The Benefits of Reflexology

Balance

Reflexology is a natural therapy that targets specific points on the feet to restore balance, enhancing the body's natural healing process and fostering a lasting sense of relaxation and well-being, both physically and emotionally.

Our peaceful sanctuary is a space for you to unwind, relax and experience the healing benefits of reflexology.  One of the most immediate effects client's report after a reflexology session is a profound sense of calm. Reflexology offers a safe, non invasive and deeply relaxing approach to naturally manage stress and tension.

Health

In today's fast-paced world, I believe we've lost the ability to pause and reconnect with ourselves. Many of us have forgotten how remarkable our bodies are in their ability to regenerate and heal. Reflexology can stimulate a healing response and provide the space clients need to allow their bodies to recover.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when I go for a treatment?

Your initial treatment will include a complimentary consultation, giving me the opportunity to learn about you, your health, and your lifestyle, This helps me create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. Total confidentiality is always maintained.

You will be made comfortable on a treatment couch and it will only be necessary to remove your socks and shoes.

Pressure will then be applied to your feet and lower legs using my fingers and thumbs. Throughout the treatment, you should feel relaxed, some people even fall asleep. You may also experience sensations throughout your body. While the treatment is generally soothing, areas of imbalance may present as tender spots; most clients find this therapeutic sensitivity beneficial. I always ensure that I work within your comfort zone.

After the treatment, I recommend drinking plenty of water to help support the body's natural detoxification process.

Please note that while reflexology can promote relaxation and well-being, it does not diagnose or claim to cure any medical conditions. Only a doctor or medical practitioner is qualified to provide a diagnoses.
